Holiday Drink Recipes

'Tis the season to be jolly, but 'tis also the season to be BUSY. No matter what your are celebrating, I will show you how to whip up a full-blown holiday spread with ease.

Apple Harvest

1 apple, peeled, cored and sliced
1-1/2 ounces of gin
1/3 ounce simple syrup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1-1/2 ounces spiced apple cider

Muddle 2 slices of the apple in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Combine the gin, simple syrup and lemon juice in the cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Pour into a Collins glass over ice. Add spiced apple cider. Garnish with more apple slices. If you like, rim the glass with cinnamon and sugar before mixing the cocktail.



Holiday Thyme

4oz pear vodka
1oz cranberry juice
1 fresh thyme leave
5 crushed cranberries

Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Pour champagne in four glasses so that they are ¾ full, strain the pear vodka mixture into the glasses, garnish drinks with a floating fresh cranberry, and a few leaves should fit through the strainer as well.



Blackberry Bourbon Cobbler

2 oz Berghoff Bourbon
¼ oz sugar syrup
5 fresh blackberries
2 dashes peach bitter

Shake all ingredients hard with ice and strain in to a tall ice-filled glass. Top off with soda water and garnish with fresh raspberries and blackberries.
